The Wilton Rotary Club will host a fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Marly’s Bar and Bistro (101 Town Green) from 5:30-10:30 p.m.. Rotary Club members will serve as guest bartenders for the evening, to raise funds to support their Student Foreign Exchanges and Scholarship Programs. The Club invites members of the community to join them for a beverage at the bar served by their favorite Rotarian or have a great meal with family and friends in the dining room.
The Club has a long history of awarding scholarships to graduating seniors at Wilton High School each year. Through the International Youth Foreign Exchange Program, Wilton Rotary has sponsored scores of Wilton High School students throughout the years, in full-year, gap-year, and summer programs across the world.
“The tradition of partnering with the high school for both in-bound and out-bound students has provided life enriching experiences for those in our community to travel abroad, and for those whom have the opportunity to come to the United States. Our club is very pleased to be able to offer these transformative experiences,” Wilton Rotary president Carol Johnson, says.
