Two Wilton Public School officials will be among those presenting at a talk for parents at Wilton Library on cyberbullying, called “Cyberbullying: What Every Parent Needs to Know.” The presentation is today, Tuesday March 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..
What is cyberbullying? How does it work? How can parents effectively respond? What are current school policies on cyberbullying? The informative discussion will feature Matt Hepfer, Director of Technology and Charles A. Smith, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent, both with the Wilton school district. In addition, Jo Ann Freiberg, Ph.D., a consultant for the State of CT Department of Education will take part.
There is no charge to attend the talk. It is co-sponsored by Wilton Youth Council, Wilton Library, Wilton Public Schools and United Way of Coastal Fairfield County.
