Tickets are now available for a trip down the evolutional path of Musical Theater in the US and how it has progressed from Showboat in the 1920’s all the way through hottest shows on Broadway today. The seminar is being held Sunday, Aug. 7, from 4-6 p.m. at the Wilton Playshop.
Whether you know every word to Gypsy, Cats, 42nd Street or Hamilton, or you’ve never seen a show on Broadway, this will be an interesting, educational and fun few hours, surrounded by fellow Musical Theater fans.
With support from the Wilton Playshop, this seminar will be presented by Justin Duhon, a talented and dynamic Musical Theater Student with the Conservatory of Fine Arts at Webster University in St Louis.
Duhon, who can name any Tony Award-winning show in any category in any year, has presented this course multiple times. Not only does he promise attendees will walk away with a solid understanding of the evolution of Musical Theater over the last century, but they’ll also have a ton of fun along the way.
Tickets can be reserved by email; ticket price is $20 for adults, $15 for students. The Wilton Playshop is located at 15 Lover’s Lane.
