How lucky is Wilton that there’s a shoe designer with offices right in town, who opens up his available stock and samples to Wilton shoppers at unbelievable prices? Typically, Sheridan Mia owner (and Wilton resident) Peter Finnie holds a secret sample sale twice a year—once in the fall and once in the spring. Finnie lets GOOD Morning Wilton whisper the news to our readers first, and we’re thrilled to announce that the spring sample shoe sale will start on Wednesday, June 1.
Sheridan Mia is a line of fashion-forward, on-trend styles, all handmade in Spain, Italy and India. Finnie makes sure that all of the shoes available at the Wilton sale are priced at wholesale prices or below, and everything at the sale will be from the 2016 spring/summer collection.
“We are bringing more stock than ever from the warehouse—600 pairs of various styles, all from this current season. There will be tons of styles to choose from in a variety of sizes, in all sizes from size 5-11,” Finnie says.
What’s more, in addition to the warehouse stock, there will also be hundreds of sample sizes available in size 37 (equivalent to size 6.5/7/7.5, depending on the style).
The only thing that’s different is this year is the location of the sale. Instead of holding it out of his office, the sale will take place in the former Higgins Group Real Estate office at 28 Center St., next door to Wilton Cleaners, and just at the entrance to Old Post Office Square (near Portofino’s and CT Coffee). Finnie says to just look for the large ‘Sale’ sign pointing the way.
