Finally I can share with you a nice forecast this week (April 23-29). Sunny and seasonable weather is in the forecast for most days out of the next seven. The only chance for rain exists on Wednesday and possibly this weekend. Be sure to head outside and enjoy the warmer temperatures, which I’m sure most of you are very happy about following this endless winter.  [See our exclusive VIDEO forecast at the end of the article!]

Monday, Apr. 23:  The gorgeous weather from the weekend will persist into the start of the new week. On Monday, expect plentiful sunshine once again, paired with maximum temperatures in the low 60s following morning lows in the upper 30s, which is above freezing (progress!).

Tuesday, Apr. 24:  On Tuesday, high clouds stream in from the south and west and will be more present as the day progresses. This is due to a weak, broad coastal low pressure that will be moving up the East Coast, and will be responsible for rain showers on Wednesday. Along with the high clouds on Tuesday will be seasonable temperatures with a forecast high in the low 50s.

Wednesday, Apr. 25:  That low pressure will be making its closest approach and the center of minimum pressure, or the center of the storm, may move right over the Tri-State Area. Thankfully, this will be a weak storm so winds will not be an issue besides the occasional gusts up to 30 mph. This storm will usher in rounds of a light-to-moderate rain Wednesday into Wednesday night, amounting up to one inch.

Thursday, Apr. 26:  The rain should then clear out for our Thursday, although a stray rain shower cannot be ruled out on the backside of the low pressure. Otherwise, expect the low clouds to clear to sunshine through the duration of the day along with a high temperature of about 60 degrees. If you haven’t noticed yet, we’re finally getting into a pattern that is producing consistent temperatures of about average for this time of the year, hovering around the 60 degrees mark.

Friday, Apr. 27:  We’ll likely get above the 60 degree mark on Friday to end the week. Temperatures may max out into the mid 60s, and that will be paired with gorgeous weather. Sunny skies will make for a great day to get outside and enjoy the spring-like conditions.

Saturday, Apr. 28:  That leads us to the weekend. There will be a new storm moving in from the Great Lakes, which will bring in a few rain showers to the greater region. Since I’m looking this far out in time, the timing of this rain is yet to be determined. As of now, the best chance for rain is Saturday night, but rain showers are also possible on Saturday and potentially Sunday as well. So on Saturday, I’m currently forecasting a few passing rain showers and highs of around 60 degrees.

Sunday, Apr. 29:  Sunday will be fairly similar to Saturday. It should be a dry day but the chance for a shower or two does exist. Otherwise, expect seasonable temperatures and a blend of sun and clouds.
