The Wilton Parks & Recreation Department “2016 Spring/Summer Brochure” is now available, both online and in hard copy form. Residents can view the Brochure online, as well as pick up a hard copy in the Parks & Rec office in Comstock Community Center. Copies also will be mailed to all Wilton Postal Customers in the next few weeks.

The activities and programs being offered will take full advantage of the renovated Comstock Community Center, where many of the classes and programs are held.

The department’s offerings for children range from activities for pre-school and school aged children in the spring, to summer camps. There are many classes being offered this year, including the new addition of Spanish classes and Story Time  for children 3-5 years; new programs for older kids, like Happy Hands Art & Pottery, Irish Step Dance, Pop Art, Middlebrook Badminton League, and more; and returning favorites for adults and seniors, including adult sports leagues, and Dog Obedience.

Summer Camp programs include Camp Looper and Cool Tots, as well as sports clinics, Lego building, movie making and chess programs among many more.

The Spring/Summer  brochure also includes information on the Town of Wilton’s annual Fourth of July celebration, as well as the form to order parking passes. As always, parking passes are issued for specific parking areas, but spaces are limited and passes are issued on a first come, first served basis, so the department encourages residents to send requests early.
