The weekend forecast says fun, according to Schmitty the Weather Dog, at least on Saturday, March 8 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. at Wilton Library. That’s when children in grades K and up are invited to join author Elly McGuire, Ron the Weatherman and Schmitty the Weather Dog when they visit the Library courtesy of Elm Street Books.
In her new book, Schmitty the Weather Dog, Schmitty leaps into action to help her two-legged Dad become a TV weatherman. Schmitty shows that it doesn’t matter what size you are or what people say about you; you can do anything if you put your mind to it. There will be a reading, weather chat, a rousing sing-a-long and Schmitty will also shake hands. Books will be on sale with author signing.
