In recognition of February being Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month, the Wilton Domestic Violence Task Force, in conjunction with Teen PeaceWorks, the Wilton High School PTSA, Wilton Library, and the Wilton Youth Council, presents a special program for teens and their parents, “Don’t Be Prey, Be Empowered.”

The program will include a screening of portions of The Hunting Ground, a documentary film about the incidence of sexual assault on college campuses in the United States. The viewing will be followed by a panel discussion with local experts regarding consent, reporting and resources.

The program will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Wilton Library. Organizers say it is suitable for grades 9 and up. Interested participants are asked to register online or by calling 203.762.6334. The event is free to attend.

Wilton Library is located at 137 Old Ridgefield Rd..
