The students of Our Lady of Fatima School have been busy rehearsing their upcoming show, Pulaski Park Rules, an actor- and audience-favorite rock musical by local author and composer Joan McFarland that deals with middle school issues about bullying, friendship and acceptance.

The show tells the story of how every summer, the popular kids rule Pulaski Park, making it difficult for the unpopular kids to enjoy their carefree summer days. But this year, a new park camp director, her hapless assistant, the crazy town mayor and council members, and popular girl Dana decide to shake things up, resulting in some positive and negative consequences for all. Who will “rule” Pulaski Park this summer?

The show features the students in grades 3-8, and is directed by Joe Santaniello of Crystal Theater. The production is managed by OLF parent Karin Beggan and supported by OLF principal Stanley Steele. The show

A dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 18 from 3-7 p.m.; show times are Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 20 at 3 p.m.. Tickets are $15 each at the door.
