With winter finally behind us, Wilton’s ever-popular Minks to Sinks spring sale is just around the corner, happening the first weekend in May. Organizers have begun scheduling in-home consignments, for anyone wishing to consign 10 or more items, excluding clothing. In-home consignments can be scheduled by calling 203.762.0520, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., before April 14.

Organizers suggest beginning now to prepare for either an in-home consignment or consigning and donating at the Minks to Sinks tents in the days leading up to the event. They recommend starting now to go through closets, attics, and garages, to gather up unwanted or unnecessary items.

Minks to Sinks is the largest tag sale in Connecticut, and the best place to find gently used and new kitchen items, furniture, toys, gardening tools and anything else for your home or family. An institution in Wilton, people come from all over the state, and as far away as Massachusetts to shop this semi-annual event. Minks to Sinks raises funds to benefit Family & Children’s Agency, the Norwalk-based non-profit agency that provides much needed social services to individuals and families in need in the surrounding communities.
