The Wilton Children’s Theater Winter 2015 show is Hairspray Jr., and tickets for the show’s upcoming performances are available now.
Hairspray Jr. is based on the similarly-named film and hit stage musical, which won eight Tony Awards. Set in 1962 spunky plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has one big dream — to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When she finally gets her shot, she’s transformed from social outcast to sudden star.
Performances are held at the Middlebrook School Auditorium and will run March 13 at 7:30 p.m.; March 14 at 4 p.m.; and March 15 at 2 p.m..
Tickets are available for purchase either online or in person at the Village Market and Middlebrook Auditorium. Tickets are $12.00 each when purchased in person; online purchases are $12.60 per ticket.

Purchasing tickets in person allows buyers to select specific seats. Tickets can only be purchased with cash or check.
Village Market Sales Dates:
March 7: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
March 8-13: 12–2 p.m.
Middlebrook Sales Date:
March 9-12: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Limited tickets will also be available for purchase on the days of performances. They will be sold only one hour before each performance, and can only be purchased with cash or check.
