While their terms of office don’t officially begin until Dec. 1, Wilton’s newly elected officials were sworn in last night, at a ceremony held in the Wilton Library Brubeck Room. Town clerk Lori Kaback administered the oath of office to 20 people, grouped by board or commission. After being sworn in, each official then signed for a copy of the Town Charter and the Code of Ethics book.

The new officials were then left to socialize with family and friends, on a night that represented what probably will be the most light-hearted of their terms. Their work begins Dec. 1, as the town now looks to them to lead Wilton forward.
