Winter weather can’t stop the Wilton fun at Ambler Farm.

First up, there’s the newest Wilton Thanksgiving tradition, the Thanksgiving Day Trebuchet launches. Build up an appetite on Thursday, Nov. 24 and visit the Farm at noon for some fresh air and to watch Ambler Farm’s “Pumpkin Warrior” launch pumpkins down the field! Watch this beauty in action before heading home or to family or friends’ for the big turkey dinner.

Then, the community is invited to celebrate the kickoff to Ambler Farm’s winter activities at the Winter Warming Party
on Friday, Dec. 2, from 7-10 p.m.. Gather over cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres from Wilton’s Craft 14 Kitchen + Bar while mingling with friends and toasting the season. The night will also feature Bookmark Wines. Browse and bid on many unique holiday decorations at the silent auction. Take home some special items for home or gifts for friends and family. Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit Ambler Farm. Registration is required and enrollment is limited. Last, but certainly not least, is Ambler Farm’s Annual Greens Sale. Ambler Farm’s Greens Sale, featuring trees, wreaths and roping, is a beloved Wilton tradition. Come to the farm to enjoy hot cocoa, cider and treats; see friends and leave with freshly cut greens. It’s a great way to begin the holiday season. Pre-order by Saturday, Nov. 26, and come to the farm on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9-11 a.m. to select your greens and get first pick before the sale opens to the public.
