Two GREAT Library Programs for Kids This Weekend

Kids are off from school for a few days, and the Wilton Library has come up with some very cool kids programming to keep everyone happy.

First up, as is tradition, they’re showing some movies for the Day After Thanksgiving, for Friday Nov. 29:

  1. Turbo (rated PG) 10:15 – 11:45 a.m. The summer movie hit Turbo will be shown. Rated PG. Healthy snacks will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver, children under 12 must have a caregiver in the building. No charge and no registration needed.
  2. Monsters’ University (Rated G) 2 – 3:45 p.m. Walt Disney’s Monster’s University will be shown. Rated G. Healthy snacks will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver, children under 12 must have a caregiver in the building. No charge and no registration needed.

On Saturday, 10 – 11 a.m. Children ages 3-10 and their families get to experience hands-on participation with string instruments from musicians with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. There will be a violin and cello. Additional dates include: March 1, 2014 brass and May 10, 2014 percussion instruments. Advance registration suggested.
