Two students from Wilton schools received National Awards in this year’s PTA Reflections Program. The theme of this year’s program was “Let Your Imagination Fly.” Middlebrook student Brycen Addison and Wilton High School student Jeromy DiGiacomo were two of only 10 students from Connecticut who were recognized as national winners.
Addison (pictured above) won a National Award of Merit in the music category for his entry, “Dream Concerto No. 1.” DiGiacomo (pictured below) also received a National Award of Merit in the literature category for his work, Metamorphosis of Imagination.

Both boys won first place in their respective age group divisions at the first, Wilton PTA level; their entries moved on to the CT State PTA level, where they won first place again. This qualified them to enter the national competition level.
The received their medals at an awards ceremony last night, Wednesday, May 11.
PTA organizers call the boys’ wins “truly great and rare accomplishment[s].”
