The Wilton Warrior Football Boosters Association is holding its 2017 Golf Outing Fundraiser on Monday, June 12 at Silvermine Golf Club. Organizers say the event is the prime fundraiser to help the boosters continue their support of the Wilton High School Warrior Football teams as well as help future players and long term development of the program.

More than 150 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament, and even more will attend the luncheon afterward. In addition, there will be a raffle and auction to raise money for the football program.

The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, and sign in is at 8 a.m.. The tournament shotgun start begins at 9 a.m., and the format is a scramble. The BBQ lunch begins at 1:30 p.m. The cost to participate is $200 per golfer, and a lunch-only ticket is $40. Any recent graduate from the Class of 2013 or younger costs only $125.

Prizes will be awarded for the following:  Hole in One, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Putting Contest. Steiner Sports Marketing, the nation’s premier memorabilia company, will be running a silent auction throughout the day.  All money raised above cost will be donated to Wilton Football.
