Something completely rare is occurring on Wednesday morning, Jan. 31, and Wilton has a chance to see it take place. It’s so unusual, in fact, that it hasn’t happened in 150 years.
Wilton will get to witness a “super blue blood moon,” which sounds much scarier than it is. We asked Kevin Meehan, Ambler Farm‘s program manager and Wilton Schools‘ science teacher, to explain exactly what three phenomena are colliding to make Wednesday’s event happen–and how and when you can see it happen.
