Its Carnival Time!
The carnival has rolled into town, setup is complete on Miller-Driscoll School grounds, and the weekend’s weather forecast is looking spectacular for the M-D PTA’s 5th Annual Spring Carnival.
This year’s carnival will feature rides, games and attractions for all ages and will take place on Friday, April 20 from 5-9 p.m.; Saturday, April 21 from 12-9 p.m.; and Sunday, April 22 from 12-5 p.m..
Entering its fifth year, the carnival has become one of the school’s most significant fundraisers. Through ticket sales and the support of local sponsor contributions (see full sponsor list below), the carnival raises funds that are used towards student enrichment programs, educational workshops, new materials and the fulfillment of grant requests.
“Five years in, the carnival has become a town highlight for families,” says Jessica Christ, Miller-Driscoll School PTA member and event chair. “We have had one of our best ticket pre-sale seasons and we expect this year’s carnival to be our most successful one yet. We are also so grateful for the amazing local businesses who support us year after year!”
Wristbands provide unlimited rides for one full day of the event, and cost $30 each. Individual tickets are also available (some rides require up to three tickets).
The Spring Spectacular Carnival is sponsored by the following local organizations and business:
Wilton Family YMCA
Shaolin Martial Arts Studios
Halstead Real Estate
Dynamic Edge Physiotherapy
First County Bank
