This week brings back the annual tradition of the Wilton High School Senior Show. This year a team of seniors spent months writing an original musical comedy that is performed, choreographed, costumed and directed by seniors. This creative feat comes to life onstage by student directors Sarah Bennett, Thomas Fletcher and Illeas Paschalidis.
Oerville is a small town in the middle of somewhere America and it is no ordinary time. The pressure is rising on the local mayoral election that involves an eclectic variety of local candidates: a college fraternity member, the PTA president, a sanitation worker, local stand-up comedian, a puppet and more. As one by one is murdered in the weeks leading up to the election, it will take Oerville’s sleuth detective, Maria Smoulder, to crack the case as quickly as possible, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats to wonder who will be alive to win the election. Theatergoers should not miss this hilarious who-done-it with an audience participation twist.
The cast from the Class of 2024 includes Aarushi Agrawal, Emmy Baer, Gracie Biondo, Ryan Cohen, Josie Coleman, Norah Corrigan, Hunter Crowell, Jessica Fang, Aunia Forland, Tommy Fox, Shawn Gregory, Emilie Gregson, Bernie Huang, Ava Keogh, Anagha Khisti, Drew Lane, Sayuki Layne, Melissa Ongley, Avery Phillips, Maksym Podolyuk, Dylan Ramirez, Marianna Ramirez, Kate Rusin, Nina Rutherford, Brivic Sato, Allie Schwartz, Abby Schwartz, Saniya Shah, Robin Somma, Sid Suneja and Ryan Wiley.
