WHS Freeplay Improv Comedy Turns to Zoom for Virtual Laughs

Wilton High School Theatre welcomes the new year with a return to the beloved belly laughter of Freeplay: A Night of Improv Comedy. Directed by WHS English and Theatre Arts teacher Heather Delude, this marks the ninth year of the Freeplay tradition. Albeit, not in its traditional form, this year the shows will be live-streamed via Zoom while still remaining interactive using the streaming chat feature.

A cast and crew of 45 students have been “working from home” to bring audiences the safest comedy experience. There will no shortage of foolery, shenanigans, antics and absurdity, all of the criteria fans have come to expect from Freeplay. Join us for this virtual production that will be sure to tickle funny bones from one screen to another!

The Mainstage cast and crew include: Liv Becraft, Michael Biondo, Nick Chavez, Ella DeLucaMolly DeLuca, Jake Eagan, Ryan Giancola, Mathew Huang, Liz Johnson, Mairead Kehoe, Caelah Kennedy, Ryan Lynn, Lily Mikita, Omer Orabi, Illeas Paschalidis, Anton Ruschevich, Sophia Savage, Abby Seaman, Rachel Slater, Taylor Spezzano, Alexa Steckel, Kathryn Stein, Aidan Thornbrough, Dana Wax, and Mickey Wilcox.

ETC casts include: Aarushi Agrawal, Faith Anderson, Emmy Baer, Sarah Bennett, Gracie Biondo, Nora Corrigan, Abby Delattre, Margot DePeugh, Jake Enman, Thomas Fletcher, Eli Foodman, Sayuki Layne, Charlotte Markey, Cooper Matik, Hannah McCall, Eli Meltzer, Connor Murphy, Thomas Rogozinski, and Rebecca Wax.
