Go Wilton! Spectators are invited to attend the 2016 FCIAC Cheerleading Competition this Saturday, Feb. 6, when Wilton High School will host the 2016 FCIAC Cheerleading Competition at the WHS Fieldhouse. The best varsity cheerleading squads in Fairfield County will compete for the FCIAC title.
The Wilton Warrior Juniors, the Competition Cheer Squad made up of Wilton Youth Football cheerleaders in grades 6-8, have been asked to exhibit their competition routine at the event. The youth squad took first place last weekend at their own cheer competition.
Saturday’s FCIAC competition is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m., and the awards will be handed out at 1:30 p.m.. There is a fee for admission.
Spectators are encouraged to wear blue and white to show support for Wilton Cheerleading.
The WHS field house is located at 395 Danbury Rd..
