Business vibrancy in Wilton and town support–of residents and town officials–have been current topics of late, as reflected by several articles in GOOD MorningWilton and on social media pages.

The Wilton League of Women Voters will hold its 2015 Annual Meeting and Lunch on Tuesday, June 16 at Trackside Teen Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. This year the League has invited, as guest speakers, Janeen Leppert, Executive Director of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and Wilton Town Planner Bob Nerney, to discuss the complementary roles of the private and public sectors in keeping Wilton a vibrant, attractive community.

The program includes a brief business meeting, a light summer lunch, and speaker presentations. The event is the annual end-of-year meeting for the group, and isn’t intended to be an extended community forum, according to group leaders.

Tickets cost $20 with advance reservations required and payment must be received no later than Friday, June 12. Seating is limited, but the event is open to members, friends, and the general public. Send payment to League of Women
Voters of Wilton, PO Box 71, Wilton, CT 06897.
