The Wilton Chamber of Commerce welcomed Cook’s Nook into the neighborhood with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at their new store at 39 Danbury Rd.. Along with several Chamber members, Cook’s Nook owners Gobind Dipchand and Sanjay Dipchand celebrated the event with first selectman Lynne Vanderslice, Cook’s Nook staff and guests.

Also there to wish the Dipchands well were vendor representatives from brands carried in the store, including Nespresso, Cuisinart, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, Swiss Diamond, HIC, Mauviel, Bodum, NordicWare and Emile Henry. The owners thanked Izzy B’s in Norwalk for providing gluten-free treats and Williams Sonoma for the use of a Nespresso machine.

Cook’s Nook is a family-owned, independent retail store that provides knife sharpening on site and offers a wide selection of quality items for cooking enthusiasts—from home cooks, professional chefs, to restaurant owners. Gobind Dipchand started the business in Norwalk in 1998, initially selling pots and pans out of a van. Cook’s Nook has grown and became one of CT’s preferred kitchen stores through years of hard work, passion, and excellent customer service. When a national fast-food chain took over the store’s Norwalk location, Dipchand moved Cook’s Nook to Wilton. To learn more visit the Cook’s Nook website or call 203.831.8777.
