“Fire and Ice” will surely entice! The Wilton Chamber of Commerce together with its event sponsor Fairfield County Bank, proudly presents its annual Winter Carnival — now with a new “Fire and Ice” theme — on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 12-3 p.m. The annual event takes a twist this year with a captivating fusion of opposites, bringing together the warmth of fire and the chill of ice in a vibrant celebration for the Wilton community.

Guests will be mesmerized at the Town Green by the ice sculpting and wood carving demonstrations, as they witness the transformation of raw materials into intricate works of art. ‘Queen Frost’ and ‘Wintery Snowman’ will be there to meet and greet young guests while fire dancers will add a thrilling spectacle and fiery displays for adults and teens.

Ice sculptures will be hidden around Wilton Center for a scavenger hunt and lucky winners will be presented with gift cards to local Wilton business. Wander further as the warmth of bonfires beckons, inviting attendees to gather around for relief from the chill with a cozy ambiance for s’mores presented by the Wilton Rotary Club.

Food trucks will offer hot and spicy, and cool culinary delights while children are entertained by face painters and fun activities throughout the Town Green.

Chamber officials invite residents to join the Chamber for this lively celebration bringing the Wilton community together to enjoy the festivities and support local businesses.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to explore all that Wilton Center has to offer and help to strengthen our local economy and show your community pride,” Chamber Executive Director Camille Carriero said. “Gather your friends and family, and come down to be a part of the fun while making a positive impact on the businesses that makes Wilton so special. We can’t wait to see you there!”

This event is presented by event sponsor Fairfield County Bank and in partnership with Gregory and Adams, P.C., Kimco Realty, Riverbrook Regional YMCA, Village Market, Wilton Library and the Wilton Rotary Club.

This is a community event and all are welcome to join. Food and beverage are available for purchase. This is rain, snow, or shine event.
