We’ve brought you the story of Anna Getner, a 9-year-old Wilton girl who is battling leukemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. Anna is also a Fourth Grade Cheerleader, and Wilton Youth Cheerleading is helping raise funds to help Anna and her family meet expenses they may incur.

Youth Cheerleading will be selling megaphone-shaped car magnets with Anna’s name on them as a fundraiser for her. They’re asking the public to purchase and display these magnets on their cars to raise more awareness for Anna and to show support. The magnets will be sold at a Bone Marrow Donor registration drive at Cider Mill on Saturday Feb. 1, 10 a.m.-2 p.m..

Cider Mill has partnered with the Be The Match Foundation (http://bethematch.org), who will run the event to register potential bone marrow donors. For more information, visit the link on the Cider Mill School webpage.
