With a commitment to serving the community, members of the Wilton Congregational Church have rolled up their sleeves and opened their hearts to those in need. The church, known for its monthly service projects, is currently focusing on collecting diapers to benefit families served by Covenant to Care for Children.

The diaper drive, open to the entire community, is a part of the church’s ongoing efforts to support its mission partners. Covenant to Care for Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Connecticut’s children in need, is a natural fit for the church’s service initiative.

“We believe in the power of community and the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need,” said Reverend Caroline Hughes, the Co-Pastor at Wilton Congregational Church. “Diapers are a necessity for families with young children, and we hope that our efforts will help alleviate some of the financial burden on these families.”

Diapers and wipes can be dropped off at the church office located at 70 Ridgefield Rd. in Wilton. The office is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., as well as Sunday mornings. The drive will continue until Friday, May 31, providing ample opportunity for community members to contribute.

“We encourage everyone in Wilton to participate in this meaningful cause,” Hughes added. “Your donation, no matter its size, can make a big difference in the lives of families in need.”

The diaper drive is just one example of Wilton Congregational Church’s ongoing commitment to serving others in the community. Through its service projects and partnerships with nonprofit organizations, the church continues to make a positive impact and embody the spirit of compassion and community service.
