The Wilton Family YMCA has announced its first “Bands on the Beach Summer Concert Series” sponsored by ASML.

The Y invites the community to enjoy four free summer concerts on its beach featuring local artists. Save the dates and get ready to make great summer memories with the Riverbrook Regional YMCA/Wilton Y branch.

On Friday, July 12, “Joni and the Keepers” will play a repertoire that spans genres, seamlessly flowing from country and folk, to good old rock n’ roll.

Local cover band “Vintage” will play on Saturday, Aug. 3, intent on keeping the dance floor busy with songs from the Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Rolling Stones and more.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, “LouderDaddy” performs great dance songs from artists like Prince, Talking Heads, Earth Wind and Fire, The B52’s and more.

Finally, “Catfish” will play on Saturday, Sept. 21 with classic rock favorites from the 50s, 60s and 70s along with a Car Show.

Beach gates open at 5:30 p.m. and each concert runs 6-8 p.m. Lifeguards will be on duty and the pond and inflatables will be open for swimming until 7:30 p.m. during each event. Food trucks will be available or attendees can bring their own picnic along with chairs and blankets. (Glass and pets are not permitted.)

Register for all concerts online.

Thank you for reading this GOOD Morning Wilton article. I hope you find all our reporting helpful and an important part of keeping up on everything in Wilton. Since 2013, GMW has worked hard to bring you timely, independent news that's available to everyone at no cost. No other news source covers Wilton, and only Wilton, full-time. What makes this local public service possible is reader support. Paid memberships fund reporters who bring you next-day news and secure our resources for things like livestreams and getting news to you when it counts. But we can't do this without your support. For as little as $5 a month, a GOOD Morning Wilton membership can keep local, independent news going in Wilton. Please consider supporting us today. Thank you,

Heather Borden Herve, GMW Editor/Publisher
