The grounds of Wilton Town Hall got a facelift last week, thanks to a community-wide daffodil planting organized by the Wilton Garden Club. Volunteers from the Garden Club (including Wilton First Selectwoman Toni Boucher), ASML, Wilton Kiwanis Club and the general public planted 2,000 daffodil bulbs that will brighten Town Hall’s landscaping when they bloom next spring and every spring thereafter.

“This planting was the Garden Club’s final phase of a five-year beautification program, known as the Golden Miles Initiative, to plant 15,000 daffodils throughout town,” the club’s Golden Miles Chair Suzanne Knutson said. “Many thanks to everyone who helped us enhance the grounds of our town government and spread daffodil happiness in Wilton.”
