Wilton High School

U.S. News & World Report annually ranks high schools across the country. This year, Wilton High School ranked 9th on the list of top CT high schools, and made it to number 356 on the national list.

Schools are evaluated and compared based on various criteria, including student-to-teacher ratio; college readiness, math proficiency and reading proficiency. While WHS larger than average in terms of student-to-teacher ratio, it was rated higher than average on all other markers.

In comparison to the schools in our district reference group (DRG), only three schools ranked higher:  Weston (#5), Westport (#7) and Darien (#8). Ridgefield came in at #11, and New Canaan was ranked #15. The number one school in CT was the Connecticut International Baccalaureate Academy in East Hartford.
