The Wilton High School Music Department is inviting the wider Wilton community to attend its annual Winter Concert, an exciting evening of festive music and community spirit.
The concert will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clune Auditorium (395 Danbury Rd.), and will feature performances by the schools band, choir and orchestra students. The program includes a mix of fun and festive music from multiple genres and historical periods.
At the concert, be sure to check out the program booklet, which will feature original artwork by WHS students. Concert attendees should also be sure to visit the Music Booster’s “Giving Tree,” where they may choose to donate funding to purchase an item from the music department’s Wish List.
“The students and staff have designed a concert experience that is very immersive, fast paced, and audience-friendly,” Music Instructional Leader Malcolm Karlan said. “We hope to bring the community together with a musical celebration of the Winter holiday season.”
All WPS concerts are free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. Visit the WHS Fine and Performing Arts website for more information about music, art and theater events at Wilton High School.
