Wilton Kiwanis president elect John Kalamarides (left) and vice president elect Jack McFadden flank Ned the Lobster at the 98th annual Kiwanis District Convention last week (Aug. 18-21). The conventions are held each year to help train incoming officers of district clubs and to share ideas of helping their communities, and growing their memberships. All clubs look to expand membership, so anyone interested in finding out more about the Wilton Kiwanis, what they do and how to become a member should contact the club via the Wilton Kiwanis website. .

One way to learn more is to attend the Wilton Kiwanis Club’s Annual Lobster Bake at Kiwanis Park at the Wilton Family YMCA on Friday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.. All are welcome. To attend, sign up online.
