The Wilton Land Conservation Trust Board of Trustees elected new officers for a two-year term at its Annual Meeting, held Wednesday, Feb. 26. They are Craig Johnson as president, Marlen S. Clark and Michael Foster as vice presidents, Mark Rice as treasurer, and Rob Sollmann as secretary.
According to WLCT Executive Director David McCarthy, the Trust’s outgoing president Stephen White guided the organization through a period of remarkable growth over the past four years. McCarthy said White’s leadership was instrumental in the successful permitting and development of Chestnut Meadows and the Offutt Barn at 183 Ridgefield Rd. Under his tenure, WLCT also expanded its membership, strengthened its brand and deepened its impact in the community.
“Under Steve’s leadership, the Land Trust has flourished — expanding conservation efforts, engaging more community members, and strengthening our stewardship initiatives. We are grateful for his vision and tireless dedication,” McCarthy said.
