In Connecticut, only voters who are registered with a party can vote in Presidential Preferential Primaries.

The Wilton League of Women Voters has summarized key deadlines for any voters currently registered as ‘Unaffiliated’ who want to participate in the upcoming Primary on Tuesday, April 2 at the Clune Center or during Early Voting at Town Hall.

To vote in the upcoming primary, unaffiiated voters must change their registration status to join either the Republican or Democratic parties. Registrations can be changed in one of the following ways:

  • Fill out a new registration card with the Wilton Registrars at Town Hall (238 Danbury Rd.) by Monday, March 25.
  • Use a CT driver’s license online by Friday, March 15.
  • Scan this QR code by Friday, March 15.
