Wilton Library held its 120th Anniversary Gala recently at the Silver Spring Country Club and it was a beautiful evening for all—from the extraordinary centerpieces using literary themes, to the tributes to Virginia and Thomas Adams, to the lively auction, to the praise and celebration of the library’s past and its continued importance to the community. Matt Mason delivered warm memories of Virginia and Tom Adams, and the library’s maker space was renamed the Thomas T. Adams, Esq. Innovation Station. The Adams family was present for the commendation.

The evening netted $110,000 which exceeded the library’s expectations for the event. The event was made possible by generous sponsorships from the Amadeo Family, Gregory & Adams, PC, Fairfield County Bank, Michael P. Kaelin/Cummings & Lockwood, LLC, Janet Adams and Richard Hollyday, The Davatzes Family, GE Capital, MCL Ventures, and Orem’s Diner. Media sponsors were Wilton Bulletin and Wilton Magazine.
