Wilton Library is inviting the community to a special fundraiser celebrating its 130th Anniversary. Within the Library spaces, attendees will honor the past decades, come together for a festive party, and raise funds to help ensure a strong future for the library.
The celebration will include passed hors d’oeuvres, open bar, an elegant sit-down dinner, a live DJ and dancing, a silent auction, a wine pull, a paddle raise, and more. Guests will start with the Roaring ’20s, cruise through the ’50s and ’60s, do the hustle through the ‘70s, flash back to the ’80s, and party like it’s 1999. Organizers look forward to celebrating the best of times.
Wilton Library’s “Decades” Spring Gala Fundraiser will be held on Friday, Apr. 4, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at the library (137 Old Ridgefield Rd.). Individual tickets are $225 per person and can be purchased online on the Decades: 130th Anniversary website. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and the deadline to purchase is Monday, March 31. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend, and attendees are encouraged to wear “Favorite Decades Attire.”
