Wilton Library has launched a new service for patrons, installing a Bloomberg Terminal that is now available for public use at the library. The Bloomberg Terminal at Wilton Library is sponsored by ASML.
“We are excited to offer this powerful financial resource to our patrons. Very few libraries are able to provide this incredible service to the public,” Wilton Library Executive Director Caroline Mandler said. “Part of our vision is to offer comprehensive resources and innovative technology to fulfill the diverse needs of our changing community, and we sincerely thank ASML for their generous support.”
The Bloomberg Terminal seamlessly integrates the best in market data, news, and analytics. It is a global financial services system that provides transparent and reliable financial, economic, and government information covering all market sectors. The terminal features company financials, market data spanning more than 20 years, charts, statistics, and current news reports. The terminal also features valuable job search and professional networking features, plus educational training via the Bloomberg Resource Center.
The Bloomberg Terminal workstation is located in the library’s Computer Room on the first floor. The terminal may be reserved for one-hour sessions on the Wilton Library website or by calling the Reference Desk at 203.762.6350. The reservation process for the terminal is similar to reserving a study room at the library.
