The Wilton Library's book sale is always something that the crowd loves.

Wilton Library will be holding a Sidewalk Book Sale during the Wilton Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair on Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..

“People don’t often think of the library as a “merchant” or “business” but we will be front and center taking up most of our library footprint on Old Ridgefield Rd. with our Summer Sidewalk Book Sale,” says Janet Crystal, Wilton Library’s marketing communications manager, who adds that table after table will be stretched out with gently used and new books, CDs, DVDs and more.

As the only “book store” in town, the library’s Sidewalk Book Sale will have something for everyone—fiction, nonfiction, mysteries, beach reads, gardening how-tos, travel books, biographies, children’s picture books, teen serial books, and more. The library’s volunteers have been cleaning and categorizing thousands of items since the end of the April sale and are ready for next Saturday.

This summer fundraiser is another important way in which residents can support the library, all while finding great bargains.
