Calling all Mythology lovers! Don’t miss out on the Wilton Library Children’s Library “Camp Half-Blood,” next Thursday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m..

Join the Children’s Library for a fun-filled day of mythological wonders based on Rick Riordan’s best selling book, The Lightning Thief. Which cabin will you be in? Are you a child of Athena? Or maybe Poseidon? All are welcome even if you haven’t read the book.

Children will have the chance to make crafts (including t-shirts), see live animal demonstrations, have a visit with Hephaestus, play games, and work as a team to make their way through the Labyrinth! Pizza lunch is also provided, thanks to the generosity of Pinocchio Pizza. Kids will love this all-day camp and grown-ups get to play on their own for the day!

The program is offered for children entering grades 3-6. The fee is $55, and is a fundraiser to benefit the Children’s Library. In-person/phone registration is required, and payment due at time of registration. Space is limited.
