Greeted by a larger-than-life, overflowing champagne bottle, guests of Wilton Library’s 19th Annual Ladies’ Soirée – Books, Bubbles & Bling – knew they were in for a fun night, and the library delivered on that promise.

With real bubbles flowing into personalized glasses created for the special night, more than 200 attendees sipped, socialized and scouted out silent auction items all to benefit the library.

“The night was a complete success from both a fun and a fundraising perspective. Even days later we were still getting wonderful comments from our guests. And we’re so appreciative of the hard work that made this possible from the Ladies’ Soirée committee along with the generous donations from our sponsors, auction donors and community members,” said Robin Axness, development director for Wilton Library.

The committee members were Summer Downey (chair), Kara Ash, Amy Cooper, Michaele Giannoutsos, Suzanne Jeschke, Suzanne Lishnoff, Maureen McGrath. Kelley O’Grady, Kristy Ripp, Michelle Shia, Namita Vadhera, Rayna Wein Avizov, and Kathleen Zadourian. Sponsors for the evening were Catamount Wealth Management, Georgetown Orthodontics, Olympian Fencing Studio, and TracyLocke; with media sponsors Wilton Magazine and GOOD Morning Wilton.
