For the 2025 Wilton Municipal Elections, GOOD Morning Wilton asked all candidates to submit a 150-word bio; candidates running for the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education and the Planning and Zoning Commission were asked to sit for a video interview and submit an 800-word op-ed. Alexandra Ralph

Candidate Submitted Bio: Since moving to Wilton in 2018, Alex has been an active and dedicated member of our community. She has four children who attend Wilton Public Schools. She has a freshman at Wilton High School, another daughter at Middlebrook School, and two sons at Cider Mill School. Alex’s involvement spans across classrooms, PTA events and youth sports programs where she volunteers regularly and has built strong relationships with families and educators alike.
With a professional background in non-profit event management and over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, she has a deep understanding of what it takes to serve a community. As a local fitness instructor and personal trainer, she’s had the privilege of working closely with many Wilton families and is looking forward to this natural extension of her commitment to public service.
Lauren Gold

Candidate Submitted Bio: Originally from nearby Brewster, NY, Lauren moved to Wilton in 2012 with her husband, Jason. After graduating from Western Connecticut State University, she started a career in insurance and has worked for State Farm for 20 years. Lauren has two sons (9 and 11) and a daughter (7) in the Wilton School District where she has been actively involved as a room mom and frequent volunteer.
Lauren enjoys being connected to her local community, often seen around town and supporting youth sports where her children are active participants. She currently serves on the board of the Community Nursery School of Wilton, following her tenure as president
Giving back and contributing to her community is a central part of who she is. Lauren welcomes the opportunity to broaden her involvement and make a meaningful impact through this role.
Justin Tishman

Candidate Submitted Bio: Justin and his wife moved to Wilton four years ago to raise their three young boys. Justin began his career in crisis intervention and juvenile law enforcement, working on high-profile youth crime cases for the State of Connecticut. He later transitioned into recruiting and is now a leader at the Forum Group CT, a finance and accounting recruiting firm with Wilton roots. Justin is an active youth sports coach and community volunteer. Justin’s blend of law enforcement experience, people-focused leadership, and local engagement make him a strong and steady presence in the Constable role.
Bo Mitchell

Candidate Submitted Bio: Bo Mitchell served as a Wilton police commissioner for 16 years before being elected as a constable, a position he has held since 2001. He was one of the first members of Wilton CERT when it was founded in 2004, and, in 2001, he founded 911 Consulting, which develops emergency, disaster recovery, business continuity, crisis communications and pandemic plans, along with training and exercises for major corporations and universities. Mitchell holds certifications in homeland security, emergency management, disaster recovery, business continuity, safety, and security. His decades of public service and professional expertise reflect a lifelong commitment to keeping communities safe, prepared and resilient.
Ernie Ricco

Candidate Submitted Bio: Ernie Ricco, elected constable in 2017 and justice of the peace in 2025, was the youngest Stratford Town Councilman in the history of Connecticut elected in 1985 at the age of 22. For over 40 years, Ernie has held numerous elected and appointed government and community positions, including Board of Education liaison, Finance Committee, etc. Ernie was the chairperson of the Wilton [DTC] Platform committee from 1999 to 2023 and served as a Connecticut delegate to numerous state and national conventions since 2000. He is the owner of Ricco Enterprises, a property management, construction and operation company, as well as a collegiate D1 FBS football coach. Since 1994, Ernie and his wife Brenda, a special education teacher, have lived and raised their six children, aged 20-34, in Wilton. All graduated from the Wilton School [District]. Important personal and government pillars are family, quality of life, respect, education, integrity, character and communication.
Sara Sclafani

Candidate Submitted Bio: Sara Sclafani, a 12-year Wilton resident, is a dedicated community advocate running for constable. She is committed to serving with transparency, accessibility and efficiency, ensuring the role remains a trusted and responsive presence in town.
A graduate of the University of Michigan and Notre Dame Law School, Sara has a professional background in corporate law and human resources. She is also an active volunteer, serving on the boards of the Wilton Library Association and Wilton Historical Society, and supporting local Girl Scout troops.
Sara is passionate about connecting with residents and contributing wherever she can make a difference. As constable, she will uphold Wilton’s civil laws with integrity while remaining engaged in the everyday life of the community she calls home.
