For the 2025 Wilton Municipal Elections, GOOD Morning Wilton asked all candidates to submit a 150-word bio; candidates running for the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education and the Planning and Zoning Commission were asked to sit for a video interview and submit an 800-word op-ed. In addition, candidates in the other races were invited to submit an op-ed if they wanted. More information is available in GMW’s Election Guidelines and Policies.

Candidate Submitted Bio

Greg Murphy, a seasoned financial professional and community advocate, is proud to announce his candidacy for public office in Wilton. He recently moved from Weston, where he raised his family and served on the Board of Finance. Greg is a graduate of Wesleyan University and NYU’s Stern School of Business, and currently serves as a private wealth advisor and vice president at U.S. Bank. He is active in the bank’s Global Proud to Serve Business Resource Group, supporting veterans and service members. Greg also served on the board of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Foundation, promoting awareness and research. Now a Wilton resident, Greg is committed to preserving the town’s natural beauty and small-town character. He supports zoning decisions that honor tradition while encouraging smart, sustainable growth. Greg looks forward to serving Wilton with integrity, experience and a deep respect for the community’s values.
