Wilton’s Building Department has launched and opened its new Online Permitting and Licensing System through the OpenGov platform. Applying for permits and licenses online is now live, and town officials promise it will now be easier and more convenient for residents, contractors and businesses to work with the Building Department on permit and license applications.
Members of the public can now:
- Submit permit applications anytime, from anywhere
- Track the status of an application in real time
- Receive notifications and updates by email
- Upload required documents digitally
- Pay fees online securely
“This new system improves efficiency, increases transparency and saves time for everyone,” Building Department Permit Technician Rachel Matthews said. “We’re here to assist — contact the appropriate department for assistance or questions.”
Access is available on the Town’s main webpage under the “Resident Action Center, Online Permit and License Portal” and on the following Town of Wilton Department webpages: Building Department, Health Department, Planning and Zoning Department and Office of Environmental Affairs.
