Then get your audition monologues ready to be part of the Wilton Playshop‘s production of West Side Story, the musical about young lovers caught between prejudice and warring street gangs in this seminal retelling of Romeo and Juliet.
The Wilton Playshop will hold auditions for West Side Story on Sunday, Feb. 4 and Monday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m.. Directed by John Atkin with musical direction by Tony Bellomy and choreography by Christine Titus, the show will run April 27-May 12. Latinx actors are particularly encouraged to audition.

Arthur Laurents’ book remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim is widely regarded as one of the best ever written.
