Make sure your children’s car seats are installed properly at a Car Seat Installation Clinic this Friday, June 23. The Wilton Police Department is hosting the clinic in conjunction with the Goddard School of Wilton, where the event takes place (385 Danbury Rd.) from 8-10 a.m..
The event is free of charge.
Wilton Police Officers trained as child safety seat technicians will be available to install or check your child restraint system. They will also educate parents and guardians on how to properly install their child seats and how to avoid mistakes in the future.
Statistically, 95% of all car seats that are installed by a parent or guardian have been installed incorrectly. All parents are encouraged and welcome to attend to ensure that everyone’s children are safe in the car.
