Wilton Police have announced that the United Way 2-1-1 system for locating cooling centers has been activated in our area, in response to the oppressive heat and humidity forecast for our area over extended days.
Anyone in need of a cooling center over the weekend can dial 2-1-1 and a representative from United Way will provide information on the nearest cooling center. Alternatively, the Wilton Library is also available as a cooling center. It will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. The library will be closed on Sunday.
