The Wilton Police Department is inviting Wilton residents to take a Stroll with Patrol on the Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) on Monday Sept. 26. Between the hours of 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 3–5 p.m., Wilton police officers will be walking the NRVT. Officers will be passing out pamphlets on trail safety tips as well as be available for casual, informal conversation.
The NRVT has proven to be a tremendous addition to the Wilton community. Stroll with Patrol is a community policing program that aims to take advantage of a community-building asset to advance and improve relationships between police officers and community members.
