With a theme of “Be You: Unity in Diversity,” Wilton Pride held its 2nd Annual Wilton Pride Festival on Saturday, June 1. The event was cohosted by the Wilton Library, with music, performing arts, exhibits, food trucks, vendors and activities on both the Town Green in Wilton Center and at the library.
This year’s festival logo was designed by Wilton High School student Piper Bittner after teens ages 13-18 were invited to enter a design contest to represent the “Unity in Diversity” theme.
According to Wilton Pride president Farah Masani, close to 500 people attended during the five-hour event, which saw a pride flag raised on the Town Green flagpole and former Wilton resident Lindsay Wheeler who returned to be the afternoon’s featured speaker.
All photos from the event were taken by Annie McMahon, unless otherwise noted.
