Each week the Wilton Town Clerk’s office releases data for the prior week’s real estate transactions. For the one-week period from Jan. 14-20, 2022, Town Clerk Lori Kaback reported one commercial property and four residential properties transferred to new owners.
Three of the four residential properties sold at or above $1.35 million, with the highest selling property fetching nearly $2 million.
In commercial real estate sales, 118 Old Ridgefield Rd., a property in the heart of Wilton Center, sold for $525,000. Originally a residence built in 1888, the building currently has roughly 3,700 square feet on 0.53 acre.
The property was sold by the Daisy A. Smith Family Trust to an entity recorded as 118 Old Ridgefield Road, LLC. According to state records, Dominick Polito and Sara Polito are named as principals of the LLC. [Editor’s note: due to limited space on the land transfer report posted by the town clerk’s office, the full grantor information was not included on what was posted on the town website. As a result the trustee was misidentified as the grantor in an earlier version of the story. It has since been corrected.]
Important: Please note the Town Clerk’s report contains limited information. For details, please read the document on file in the Wilton Town Clerk’s office. These land transfer reports are available on the town website.
