Wilton Center is once again decorated with scarecrows, hanging on lampposts as part of Wilton’s Annual Scarecrow Fest 2017. They appeared on Friday, Oct. 20, and beckoned pedestrians and strollers to admire the clever, creative and comical straw figures.
Thanks to Wilton’s scavenger hunt, there was one more reason to walk about Wilton Center, to search for the clues on some of the scarecrows. Participants could fill out the town-provided form and turn it in (deadline 3 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 23) at Lang’s Pharmacy (28 Center St.) or Wilton True Value Hardware (21 River Rd.); three winners will be randomly drawn during tonight’s Board of Selectmen meeting.
