Due to heavy snows and forecasted blizzard-like conditions, schools in Wilton are closed on Friday, Jan. 3. Both Wilton Public Schools and Our Lady of Fatima School cancelled classes and closed schools and offices.
Cancellation emails were sent and Facebook postings were made on Thursday evening before the bulk of the projected snow accumulation fell. That came after just about every school district in the state of CT cancelled Friday classes in advance.
